SHIPPING POLICY

Delivery & Pickup

We offer free local delivery on orders of $50.00 and over within the Cornwall area. For the avoidance of doubt, local is considered to be within city limits. Anything outside of Cornwall city limits will be at the discretion of Maudern Abode and we reserve the right to charge an additional delivery fee.

Free local pick-up is also available. You will receive an email once your order has been received, then another e-mail once your order has been processed and is ready for pick-up or delivery. When the Maudern Abode “Door-Step” pick-up option is selected upon placing your order, you will then be provided with the pick-up location and hours of operation.


Your order will be held for 7 days at Maudern Abode while awaiting pick-up. If you have not contacted us for an extension before the 7 days have expired, the item will be re-stocked and a credit will be applied to your account.


Maudern Abode will not be held responsible for packages once they have been delivered to the address provided. Additionally, Maudern Abode will not be responsible for any incorrect addresses provided. As such, please ensure the address of delivery is correct at the time of purchase. There will be no refunds for deliveries sent to an incorrect address.

Delivery is non-refundable on orders outside the 15km radius.

Lead Time

We strive to have your order ready for delivery or pick up within 48 hours after your order has been placed and received. If we are unable to meet this timeframe, we will notify you as soon as possible.

Delays

Delays in shipment or delivery may happen and are out of our control. These delays can push our lead time given at the time of purchase. We ask for your patience and will work hard to have your order ready in a timely manner.

Stock

In some instances, a product may sell out before we have a chance to update our website. If you purchase an item that is out of stock or on backorder, we will contact you with an estimated time of arrival of the product. If this date is not acceptable to fit your schedule, we will refund the amount of the item back to the original method of payment used. If the product is discontinued or no longer available for purchase, we will also contact you for a refund. If there is an item that is out of stock, we can special order it for you. Please note that while there are no additional costs for special orders, delivery times may vary depending on the item. We will contact you with more details on any special orders placed.

RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

We love all of our home decor products, and we want you to love them too!

Returns must be made within 10 days of receiving your order and must be accompanied with the original receipt:

  • Merchandise must be unused, in new condition, and must have all original tags attached. All Refunds are at the discretion of Maudern Abode, and are subject to inspection based on the state of the item upon return.

  • All “Sale” or “Clearance” items are Final Sale.

  • All seasonal items post-season are Final Sale.

  • All custom/personalized/made-to-order items are Final Sale.

We take great pride in our product and carefully inspect all of our items before packaging them with love for our customers. We take quality very seriously to ensure you are receiving the best possible products. If, however, your items arrive somehow damaged or defective, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order at: hello@maudernabode.ca.

Disclaimer: Due to the handmade nature of some of our products, there may be some imperfections, patterns, or colour variations from one product to the next. These will not be considered flaws in the product as it is out of our control and is the nature of the material in a hand-crafted item. Please note that colours may vary slightly from those seen on your browser or mobile device screen.
